(More customer reviews)Short and sweet...Mater is not die cast...disappointing after having come across some second hand Cars(the original) cars(McQueen, Floe & Ramone) that ARE die cast(made in Thailand). It's not a POS, but it is made in China and plastic. Oh well...Walmart has him for less than $4 after tax.
