(More customer reviews)Here we have the beautifull Moebius Seaview. First, I would like to say I am a Lifelong Fan of the Classic TV series by Irwin Allen. And to Fans like myself , this is a God Send!!!
Ok, this Model represents the Second to fourth Season version Of Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea's Submarine Seaview. This Kit is based off of the 17'2" Filming Miniature used for all the Surface Running shots as well as the Flying Sub Launch sequences.
It's 39" Long and packed with detail. It can be built up as an an attractive Model Right out of the box, for the casual Modeler.However for guys like me, you can really go to town on this kit. I added my own Lighting system for both the Seaview and Flying Sub that comes with the kit.
I also researched the best colors for the Sub, from guys who actually had access to the real Miniature.I removed all the seam lines on the Hull as well.
This was a really fun build for me, and I await Moebius next offerings from the "Fantasy worlds of Irwin Allen"!!!
I highly recommend this kit to any Classic Sci-Fi Fan and Modelers of all kinds. This is a High quality kit and worth every penny!!!
