(More customer reviews)i found this little beauty on a hunt for a monster jam batman truck, and i was apprehensive about buying it. after all, i was a batman fan, not so much superman. but i bought it anyway, and i am glad. the cars frame is made out of metal, a surprise for me, and the cars overall design is pretty neat. kudos to the engineer. i was disappointed that the rest of the car was most certainly plastic, but you take what you can get i suppose. its very cool looking and extremely fun, and (this is the only time i will admit this) it is better then the batman truck, in which the frame is plastic as well as the rest of the truck.

(More customer reviews)My Son loves these trucks. I only paid $12.99 for it at Toys R Us. They are way overpriced on Amazon. You can even find them at Target and WalMart from time to time. I just picked up Blue Thunder this week at TRU for $9.99 and yes, it's the 1:24 scale.

(More customer reviews)My 3 year old grandchild just loves to play with this for hours. It obviously has no educational value but it was not purchased for that reason. Durability is not known. The only weak spot on these toys is the wheel/axle configuration. They are built to have a lot of motion and flexibility. This will be the problem area if any occurs. Any kid rating this toy would give it a 5 star rating. Putting it down is the only hard thing for him to do.

Mattel Hot Wheels Monster Jam Crash and Smash Stadium Review

(More customer reviews)The Hot Wheels Monster Jam is built very cheap. The launch pads do not fit the stadium as shown on the box. The pop-ups to launch the barrels get jammed. The launchers simply snap apart when my 4 and 6 year old try to load a truck in them. And...finally, the motorized stadium floor is not powerful enough to spin two trucks consistently. Very disappointing.

(More customer reviews)I gotta say that I can't see the big deal about monster trucks, but I have 3-year-old twin boys, and they certainly can. We bought them a DVD with some monster trucks, and then I showed them some YouTube videos, and then I saw these at Walgreens.
As the title says, these things are great! Aside from some slight chipping paint off the edges from toddler handling, durability is strong (definitely prefer Hot Wheels over all other miniature cars), and the "independent suspension" means that they can roll over all kinds of things. Perfect size for young hands, perfect size for the "one toy" they are allowed to bring in the car on outings. Like in a restaurant, before a meal, they can play with them on the table with minimal noise and fuss, and are easy to remove when the food comes.
I've seen some other children playing with them in the sandbox, but I personally wouldn't recommend that. To me they are "indoor" toys.

(More customer reviews)We thought we had every Grave Digger that they made, including the Anniversary edition, the old-style one, etc. But this way-way old-school one, from the "Monster Jam Classics" series, is a must-have for Grave Digger fans young and old.
It was a real thrill to add this one to our collection, especially since it comes from the new "Flag Series" line, which includes a really cool nylon flag for display.
Sorry, folks, there are absolutely no negatives on this! In fact, we bought one to play with and one to keep in the package as a collectible. Highly recommend.

This year he got to meet one of gravediggers drivers at Monster Jam Pittsburgh, he was so excited about that and never stops talking about it. Glad I finally found it for him!

(More customer reviews)Did not buy this toy from Amazon. I have had such bad experiences with most of hot wheels and the Monster Jam stuff that I refused to buy it but finally used it as a bribe. Usually I hate the stuff but my son will play with it broken or not. Of all the junk in this toy line this one is by far the worst. It was hard for even me to work and after about three not so good flips it broke entirely. Total playtime was less than either the after disappointment phase or the assembly--both which annoyed me. It took some brute strength to smash the pieces into place. The car that can be crushed doesn't hold together really well and really needs reassembly by an adult or older child over and over and over again. I measure a toy by 1) its ease of assembly and overall quality 2) the playtime it gets 3) the joy it brings to my child. This one took too long to put together for the size it was, and broke. My son was so displeased after a week of build up about the purchase that he actually cried tears of frustration and its been on my shelf for two weeks untouched.

Very reasonably priced, it is of very good quality and fun to play with after it is built. Its working suspension makes it roll and manuever well! I will definitely add to their collection soon!
