Learning Curve Bob the Builder - Take Along Playbox Review

Let's face it ... it's an empty box. Ande the only reason why I bought it is because I was tired of all the bob vehicles lying around on the floor. At least this way my son enjoys cleaning them up. The material of the box is much sturdier than expecte and it comes with a set of stickers ... so you can assign a space to each vehicle.

Bob the Builder - Die Cast Dodger Review

Bob the Builder - Die Cast Dodger

My three-year-old fell in love with beautiful, colorful Dodger the Milk Truck on Bob the Builder. When we saw a Dodger for sale in the store I snapped him right up. The problems started though when my little one could not make the milk crates stay in the back of Dodger's truck bed. The milk crates are apparently only meant to stand alone and not be actually trucked around and delivered like the real Dodger does. My advice to parents is to lose the milk crates, otherwise you'll be like me, constantly trying to find a way to tape, glue or otherwise affix the crates in the back of the truck.

My son owns all of the other Bob the Builder take along vehicles and loved that a new one was introduced. Tumbler is much larger than the other vehicles but still fits in all of the take along Play sets. My son loves it.

What child doesn't want another "Bob the Builder" character? I purchased all of these when my daughter was 4, and now my 3 year old son loves them! They are played with very roughly by two young kids, and only the forklift has broken. These even go in the bathtub, and they hold up great! Great product, meant for real play!!

Bob the Builder: Take-Along Vehicle - Muck Review

Bob the Builder: Take-Along Vehicle - Muck

The dumper in the back is already full. My son can't put dirt or sand in the back and dump it out. It's already filled with plastic "dirt" with another layer of plastic "dirt" underneath that becomes visible when the top layer is "dumped." But even this dumpable top layer is attached to the toy...so nothing gets dumped! We got a tiny screwdriver and released a screw under the dumper (took forever), and the fake dirt popped out. Now my son is happy his Muck is "fixed".
He asked us to fix the bucket, which is not curved enough to scoop any sand or dirt because there's a magnet inside. But there's no screw. So he can only use the little log it came with. As clever as the magnet is, it's only fun for a day.
As is the trend, this toy is only capable of playing in a closed system. It doesn't fit into my son's life. Can't they just make me a Muck? Why do they have to gunk up the works?

Take Along Bob the Builder - Scrambler & Zoomer Review

Take Along Bob the Builder - Scrambler and Zoomer

my 20 month old loves Bob the Builder. We found this online to give to him for the holidays and so far so good. (he's had it for 3 months) No wheels have broken off and no paint has chiped off. It's a perfect size for him to hold onto in his chubby little hands. Be aware that it is a metal car toy, it has some heft to it and therefore if thrown can be dangerous to the toys target destination. My son's only problem with it is that he keeps trying to take Bob out of the car, but to his dismay Bob is permanently driving!

all the diecast Bob the Builder toys are the way to go. My son has the whole "team" and he loves them. The magnetic roller trailer attaches just like the Brio trains simple for a todler to do so more time to play.
The "talking" plastic Bob the Builder toys are junk. We had to put them away (hidden) because they fall apart with even the gentalest play. Unless you want to keep puting something back together and deal with a disapointed little one, stick with the dicast.

Mostly plastic. The kids liked the motorcycle and helicopter, which are easily broken. Very little die cast metal in this play set!

I got these to put in my son's stocking, and I'm very disappointed. They are REALLY cheap, with several coming with broken wheels, torn stickers, etc.... They do not have pull-back action either. I would steer clear of these! Certainly a waste of money, not a deal.
