This item is not really a toy, but more of a adult item for a adult fan of Doctor Who. It is also a item I would seriously recommend.

Doctor Who Underground Toys 5 inch Diecast Collectable Tardis Review

Just to note to potential buyers: This is the 9th/10th Doctor's TARDIS (no St. John's Ambulance symbol).
I think they've done a wonderful job on this TARDIS if you're looking for an accurate display piece. It's diecast and somewhat heavy, so not really appropriate as a toy. The doors don't open and it doesn't make sounds or light up. It also only about 5-6" tall, so it might be a bit short if you're looking for something to go with 5-6" Doctor action figures.
I haven't measured it to see how close the scale is, but it looks accurate. There's some small touches, such as brown around the corners of the white windows and in the recessed panels and other nooks and crannies to give the whole thing a kind of worn and slightly dirty look - it is a ship that's been throughout space and time for 500+ years after all. They even have the text of the "Police Telephone" on the front door, as well as handles and a small gold circle for the lock.
All in all, I think it's a wonderfully detailed TARDIS if you're looking for a collectable and not something to play with. (If that's the case, I'd go with the flight control TARDIS.)

Doctor Who Underground Toys 5 inch Diecast Collectable Figure Black Dalek Review

Doctor Who Underground Toys 5 inch Diecast Collectable Figure Black Dalek

This is a very cool Dalek model. It is so well made and looks amazing, especially sitting on my desk. I expected this to be a solid piece of die-cast, however, the eye-stock moves and the top of the turrent-head of the Dalek turns! The packaging is so great, I almost did not remove the model from inside. Almost! And here's another treat: this Dalek also has wheels! The details are great and I really got so much more than I expected. It is well worth the price. Some may wonder if this Black Dalek is Dalek SEC. It is not packaged that way, but looking at the model with it's blue eye,is it Dalek SEC? You can't go wrong with this thing!

Doctor Who - The Tenth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver Review

Doctor Who - The Tenth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver

When you install the batteries it requires the use of a small phillips head screwdriver... So you need a regular screwdriver to make your Sonic Screwdriver work. (And while I was doing this, I actually was thinking to myself, "Hmmm, this really could be more sonic!")
I've had this thing for about a year now, I use the regular pen nib quite often and it's currently not showing signs of running out of ink. The nib with the UV ink, unfortunately was lost.
That is the biggest issue I have with the item. The instruction pamphlet that comes with it says that you can order replacement nibs from customer service. You can not currently just order replacement nibs from Amazon, nor are they currently listed in the "Spare Parts" section of the Character-Online customer service website. (Though there are spare Dalek parts which is kind of awesome.) You have to call the company's customer service department which is in the UK. So unless you want to call long distance and pay shipping from the UK for pen nibs? Do not loose them. (This may change, I hope it does.)
Onto the good stuff!
I really love owning this thing. A few days ago I had a blackout at night and (due to a recent move) I couldn't find my flashlight, but I was using this thing to make some notes. So I used it to find my keys and my wallet to go out and buy a proper flashlight and some candles. Doing that was more fun then I should probably admit in a public forum. Secondly, the UV ink is tangentially educational. Your child likes Doctor Who, you get them this pen, they write secret messages on the psychic paper and say "Cool! How does that work?" They then become interested in what UV light is, learn all sorts interesting stuff about wavelengths and "Yay! Science is fun!"
If you're a cosplayer through, that's not really your concern. From close up and far away it looks good, it has the right moving parts, lights up and makes the noise. It comes with batteries. I don't know what more you could ask for.
Just don't misplace the pen nibs.

Each Sonic Screwdriver feels just perfect. It doesn't really do all the cool things in the series (just in case the Cybermen are able to buy them), but it does have lights and sounds straight from the show - and it extends too! One end has a purple UV light and the other has a pen nib. You can use the regular pen nib to write shopping lists and the UV ink pen nib to write secret plans. These can then be revealed with the UV light of the Sonic Screwdriver. Equip up, Junior Time Lords - it's time to go Dalek hunting.Super Cool Note: The story goes like this: the prop made for the new series was small. Then this toy came out - it was bigger to accommodate the batteries - and the Doctor Who producers revamped the TV prop on a mold from this toy. So this Sonic Screwdriver is exactly the same size as the one Doctor Who uses on TV!
