(More customer reviews)The landing gear on this toy replica aren't very resilient or sturdy, so a kid that is rough on their toys will have this plane beat up pretty quick. I bought this to have on my desk because of how much I enjoyed the story about an adventure to Peru in Chester Isaiah Muncie's third book, "The Comedy Of Interaction In Human Relationships," which is a short story of under half a dozen chapters among a potpourri of topics in 33 chapters that are Volume 3 of that set of books. It's holding up fine for a sentimental old fool like me. But as a toy for kids to play with, I'd wager the landing gear or propellor might not keep their shape. Other than that, the detail is pretty good, and helps me visualize the aforementioned story elements. For the money, this little metal toy plane is satisfying. Oh and like you've never bought a toy as an adult just for fun. Go ahead and buy it. I won't tell anybody.
