There were five vehicles initially released from the four Indiana Jones movies. Since Crystal Skull was the latest obviously they have two from there jungle cutter and Hangar 51 Rocket Sled. There was also the cargo truck with Indiana dragging behind it from Raiders and from The Last Crusade, the Persian Tank which went over the cliff. If you're interested I also bought the truck and tank and have written reviews on those as well so check them out if interested.
The escape plane from the blimp is my favourite though. Has both Indiana and Henry Jones inside it. Henry has the big rear gun firmly in his hands (he has yet to shoot out the tale which is a bit disappointing). Unlike the other metal vehicles in this series this one is all plastic for some reason, but it is still very strong and it would actually be more durable than the others. Disappointingly the wheels do not move on this, however the propeller does rotate.
All these vehicles come with a little brown stand that is supposed to represent a rocky dirt ground but actually looks like something you might step in if an irresponsible dog owner hasn't picked up after their dog. It's the exact same one for all of five of these vehicles which is a bit stupid especially the plane as the plane really would have benefited from a little pole or something so the plane could be displayed flying. Especially when you consider that what the figures in the plane are positioned doing.
There is no scale at all on the packaging but the actual size of the die-cast plane is roughly the same size as your everyday Matchbox/Johnny Lightning/Hot Wheels die-cast car which are 1/64.
The packaging although not the easiest to open can be opened with scissors in an Egyptian mummy coffin way to pretty much conserve the packaging for resale (all you'd have to do is put some tape down the side if you cut along the bottom, top and one side where the plastic meets the cardboard backing). It is worthwhile keeping the packaging as it does have some movie info on the back (see customer images) plus if you want to resell later you are likely to get slightly more.
Overall this plane and the other Indiana Jones vehicles are pretty cheap, you should be able to get them each for under US $5 including postage, and are well worth owning. There was also a second release which included the motorbike with sidecar from Crusade and a few other vehicles. Check out my customer images to see the packaging and some of the stuff I've talked about in this review.
