I left it in the box in hopes of retaining its value, but through the window of the box it appears to be of perfect detail and is of high quality. I have a real 2010 XF SuperCharged myself and having washed that vehicle many many times I know the details of the real vehicle and the model car is a precise miniature of the real one for sure. I was tickled that Amazon had a die cast version of the real on I would put on my book shelf. The model arrived quickly although it did have postage marks indicating that it came from very far away. That in itself was very interesting and added to the value of the purchase for me at least.
Use of this model as a toy? Not sure how durable it might be. It does have some small side mirrors that might break as your son or daughter take it into a high speed turn (and over do it), but other than that it be quite stout. It would definitely create some pleasant dreams for them and you don't have to worry about door dings on the model that you do with the real one at the market. Ha!
