(More customer reviews)I purchased this product with the impression that it was die-cast construction. The trailer on the semi feels die-cast, but that is the only thing. Not impressive! Otherwise, my boys love them and they'll be broken in no time, but what can you say about plastic toys.

(More customer reviews)After spending $30 on this 5 pack of construction vehicles, I expected them to hold up a little better than they did. There is a VERY minimal amount of "metal" in these, they are mostly plastic. One of them broke the first day when my 3 year old was playing with them, not even doing anything rough or out of the ordinary. I never would have paid $30 if I had known they would break so easy and had such a tiny amount of metal to them.
