(More customer reviews)I bought the vintage carrying case for use as a fun purse. The case is quite sturdy with a fun hook closure. The bottom of the case is felt -great for strictly indoor use, not so good for outside. The biggest downside, the paint seems to be water-soluble. I got some raindrops on the paint and where it touched, the paint simply washed away or smudged a water spot. I'll be buying a silicone/protective spray tonight in an attempt to protect the paint job.

Pioneer Plastics 1/24 Scale Acrylic Display Case with Clear Base all all all Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a bunch of these for my 1/35th scale WWII tank models. It's fits most medium tanks (Sherman, T-34, Panzer 3 & 4, etc), but is not big enough for larger tanks like the Tiger and Panther.
I drill holes in the bottom of the model and the floor of the case and wire the model to the floor. That way the model is removable by simply clipping the thin wires. The clear floor lets you pick up the case to view the bottom of the model. The plastic is flat and distortion free, but will scratch if not handled and cleaned carefully.
The top of the case makes a nice snug fit to the base so it stays together without otherwise securing it, but I put a small piece of clear tape at each end just to be safe.
Be sure and read the description because the product picture is just representative of a whole line of these products, some of which have mirrored or wood floors. The ones I use have clear floors. I paid $5.09 each but the shipping was the same for four as it was for one, so the more you get the more you save in shipping costs. Definitely cheaper than what I used to pay getting them from Hobby Lobby.

She had no room in her suitcase for it and ended up shipping it back home with cars loaded inside! We were surprised at how sturdy this little box is considering that it is made from cheap plastic!
My son loves it and so far has not broken it. It was bought for the short term and not expected to be kept as a collectable!He is nearly three and we were thinking that it wouldnt make it to his fourth birthday! With how well it is holding up, I think it just might surpass that and our expectations of use!
A surprisingly good buy!

Hot Wheels Molded 48 Car Case - Colors and Styles May Vary Review

(More customer reviews)I have 3 sons so we have over a thousand hotwheel & match box cars, so I have bought every car case there is and this one is the Best!! It's very durable my kids stand on it, throw it and open & close it a zillion of time (we've had one of the case now for 3 yrs) and still in one piece and still closes tight. Compare to other car case I have bought that have fallen apart within days of abuse from my 3 boys. I like this case so much I bought 3 more and won't buy any other. It keeps the cars orgainized and off the floor.

Tara Toy Match Box 30 Car Case Review

(More customer reviews)After seeing this item online, I wanted to buy one for my son. It reminded me of the Hot Wheels case my brothers had growing up. Seeing that this case is rated to hold 30 cars, I expected it to be about the same size, about 10-12 inches across...
I happened across it at Toys R Us today, priced at $6.99.
Oh, my goodness! It is tiny! Don't get me wrong. It's cute and it's good quality. But, how anyone could fit 30 Matchbox or Hot Wheels cars it it, is beyond me! Without the dividers inside, a person would be hard-pressed to 30 cars in it; with the dividers, forget it.
Inside there are dividers for roughly 15 cars. Which still makes for a nice Matchbox case.
And, actually, it's a great size for taking along some cars to play with on the road or to a friend's house...
(Just don't count on fitting 30 cars in there.)
