The item pictured is the legendary Supermarine Spitfire of Battle of Britain fame, not the Curtiss P-40 of Flying Tiger fame, which performed its service on the opposite side of the planet from where the Spitfire did.
Clearly this vendor does not know their product line.

(More customer reviews)The picture presentation and the PRICE lead the buyer to believe they will receive an assortment of the semi's... when in reality, you will receive one semi for 4X the price you can purchase at a toys 'r us store! this was not a good transaction for us because the seller did not refund the total amount so the transaction COST me $8!!! and no semi!!! (amazon made up the difference so i am fully satisfied with amazon... just not the seller (i deleted emails so i do not have sellers name to provide here and when i tried searching for it, the convoy assortment comes up as currently unavailable). It's good to know that amazon takes care of its customers and made a bad deal all better!

The door that you push in to send the car shooting through the loop when you release the spring - it frequently would be misaligned and would not push back. This caused my child to be very frustrated. When it worked it was great, but it worked so infrequently that I'm not inclined to buy any more 'Diego' character products.

(More customer reviews)This was a great set from Ertl that came out in 1989, when the live action Batman movie with Michael Keaton came out. The vehicle design is the same as the movie. The 3 pieces in this set are similar in scale to Micro Machines, very cool and tiny, the Batmobile is about 2 inches long. Also includes the Batwing plane, and the Joker Van. Nice to see this 20 year old toy still for sale.

Matchbox Pop Up Mini Snake Escape Adventure Set Review

(More customer reviews)I am all for toys that clean up easily when you're done playing with them! My son received this set for his 4th birthday. We have one of the larger Pop-Up sets (which my son loves and plays with all the time), but with this one, his interested fizzled out pretty quickly.
There are 2 levels of the playset. On the right side there are ramps that look in the picture like they would allow the car to drive up and down between levels, but the upper and lower ramps don't snap together so the car just sort of falls from the top level. The bottom ramp has a crank that can lift it up on one side, but it doesn't flow really well. On the Left side of the top level, there is a neat Snake head can fit a car in it's mouth. The whole head tilts down to form a second ramp to the first floor. There is a rocky path to drive over and a secret back exit. There are 3 tiny figures that can be removed/repositioned: a palm tree, a scorpion and a person. This set comes with one truck. It does not need batteries and does not have any lights/sounds, etc (which is nice for a change)
This mini set just wasn't as exciting as some of the other pop-up sets we've seen, but it does link together with our other set; and because it is so easy to fold up and put away, we've brought in on car rides, to grandmas house, etc as a short term distraction.

All things considered, it's not a bad toy, but not worth more than $10. The little figures are pretty small/potential choking hazards, so be careful if you also have little ones around the house.

(More customer reviews)I am a mother of 3 boys. My oldest two, ages 2 and 4, have an extensive hot wheels collection. I bought this item to provide them with an attractive, easily accessible storage option for their hot wheels. However, I was very disappointed with the durability and functionality of this product. It will only hold hot wheels cars. It does not hold trucks, vans or any of the more creative hot wheels designs. Most importantly the cloth straps which support it are stitched into the plastic seams on the face of the storage unit. This allows the front to tear easily away from the straps. The item only lasted a month in my home before the stitching was torn from the plastic seams, rendering it useless. It is disappointing that the name of such a durable toy was placed on such a flimsy storage solution. I would only recommend this product for use with much older children.

(More customer reviews)You'll only probably want this one if you're getting every car in the series. In both this second release of Universal Monster die-cast vehicles by Johnny Lightning, along with the first release, better Creature from the Black Lagoon vehicles can be found. This I guess is the most reptiley looking car of them all being dark green and with its headlights and all, but why you're probably buying cars from this great series is for the brilliant artwork. This artwork you've got to look at for a while to work out what it is (part of the creature on the bonnet and a black sketch of him on the doors).
Better from this second (red carded) release is the 1933 Willy's Panel Van where the creature is painted onto the sides (along with a full moon) and the roof as well. Then from the first series (blue carded blister packs) you've got the 49 Mercury and the 57 Chevy Bel Air convertible is another great option. Both have great artwork of the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Like all vehicles in the second release, this one comes with a bonus car cover and this one is green with black squares which I would guess are supposed to look like scales. It's the same one you get with the 1933 Panel Van.

HOMER'S CAR The Simpsons 2003 Johnny Lightning Die-Cast Vehicle Review

(More customer reviews)Homer's pink car is of one of four Johnny Lightning Simpson's die-cast vehicles released back in 2003. The other three were Marge's Station Wagon, the Springfield Elementary school bus and Chief Wiggum's Police Cruiser. That police cruiser was all white but later Johnny Lightning as part of the 5th release of Hollywood on Wheels released an LA looking Black and White version. In that release Homer's car was also rereleased with tickets over the windshield, the station wagon had dirt spots on the sides and the school bus had a banner painted on it saying school charter.
All of the Simpson's vehicles look sensational! They are all brilliant recreations of the drawn vehicles from the popular Simpsons TV show. Of all the cartoon vehicles released by Johnny Lightning and other manufacturers, these 4 easily most closely represented the actual ones that appear week to week on your TV. I'd love to see Johnny Lightning release other vehicles from the show. The top of my wish list would be Snake's Hot Rod and Mr Burns' limo.
All of these four vehicles come with a little cardboard figure, it is important to note that you will not always get the same figure with each car so if ordering from an online seller and you are getting all four vehicles make sure you ask to give you a different character with each car. Any of the characters can appear in the blister pack of any of the four cars. Cardboard characters you may get are Marge, Homer with Maggie, Lisa, Bart or Auto. These are pretty common on E-bay and elsewhere so don't pay too much.
