CARS Radiator Springs Playmat Review

(More customer reviews)It was a lot smaller than we thought it would be, and a lot flimsier than we expected. We bought a HUGE (4'x 6') Radiator Springs rug for $20 that is MUCH more rugged and durable, even the colors are brighter. This one was $18 plus shipping, and is small and dingy-looking. If something gets spilled on it and we wash it once, I'm sure it'll fade even more. Plus the fabric is a velour-type, which everything sticks to. I usually only review things we love, but had to take the time to steer others away from this and towards just about any other Radiator Springs merchandise you can find. We have it all and this one was our first disappointment. Sorry!

(More customer reviews)DO NOT BUY THIS -- giving it 1 star is generous. i would really rate this about one-third of a star. it was an absolute waste of money. the silly thing never worked -- just jerked about a little bit. plus, it took quite a long time getting it out of it's box (all those stupid tie things to keep a plastic toy tied to a cardboard box), which of course resulted in destroying the packaging and so we couldn't take it back. what a disapppointment from Disney -- this really soured us. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

(More customer reviews)I hope everyone who buys this item returns it has a major design defect that renders it unuseable.
Something must have changed between prototype and production.
Final 3 tracks before motor way too sharp and steep. Will not stay together even for a moment. Car will not stay on track. Every peice of set different.
Maker must recall and re-engineer. Very sorry about sadness and frustrations this toy will bring so many children.

(More customer reviews)I just got this for my son for his 5th birthday. He's been asking for it for months. It's hard to find in the stores but $30.00 is a lot for it. Shop around and you can find it a little cheaper.
My son LOVES his Lightning Storm Mcqueen. He got a lot of CARS stuff for his birthday and this, he says, is his very favorite.
When you press the button on the top or make him move, he makes sounds. It is really loud but I'm finding that is the case with more toys nowadays. No volume button but there is an off/on switch. My son mostly plays with the sound off.
He loves to pop the wings out and shoot the missiles and bombs. The missiles shoot out about 5 feet or so. It took us a little while to figure out how to get the wings out and for him to actually be able to do it. Once-in-a-while they stick and don't come completely out.
I recommend this toy. I'm even getting one for my nephew. Even with a few minor issues, my son still loves this toy and has a lot of fun with it. Even my 7 yr. old daughter plays with it.

Most room for creative play, and he was able to assemble it himself after we showed him the first time. The smokestacks and mirrors come off kind of easily, but overall it's lots of fun, and not totally limiting the way the other Mack's are...

Disney Pixar Cars Piston Cup Racers Gift Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I got my son this set as a present. It is of a much higher quality than the plastic Cars toys that are sold at the Disney store. These cars have a nice weight to them. They are very detailed, shiny, and durable. I was pleased to see that Amazon offered a set of just the race cars as this is my son's favorite part of the movie by far! I highly recommend this set for all Cars fans!

(He's 3 1/2 years old) It's durable, has nice wheels and a nice paint job. I also like the fact that it is the only female DISNEY CARS race car! I need to complain to DISNEY to create more female race cars!

(More customer reviews)My son loves Cars and is collecting each of the Matchbox type cars. He said he wanted a Mac, so I found this one on-line. I was extremly disappointed in the truck, especially for the price. It is cheap plastic and the trailer doesn't not click onto the front of the truck. Therefore, it pops right off all of the time. It would be better if the truck was either one piece or would snap together so as not to fall apart by a slight touch.

Disney Pixar Cars Figurine Set with Mater Review

(More customer reviews)My son bought this set with his birthday money. He is 6, not rough on his new toys. Within the first day, Mater's tow hook arm broke off. The next morning, one of Guido's lifts broke off and then the same day Chick Hicks' tire is bent- which now wont roll right. They are just made of very poor quality plastic. I expected them to be more of a "matchbox diecast" and they arent. My son has been so upset daily at this cars breaking, he spent $14 at the disney store on this and its junk! I would recommend you buy the little matchbox ones from walmart for $3.19 a piece! I have yet to find a mater toy that is made for children. We have every item they have sold with Mater on it. We have the RC, which my son LOVES. Its very fast, but all of the little toys the tow arm breaks within hours of purchase! Hope this helps!

(More customer reviews)The light-up feature of the two cars is very cool. However, Boost's plastic wing broke the day we got him. It seems to have been very cheaply attached to the car. My 3 year old was so sad and disappointed and asked us to fix it. Well, superglue just can't permanently attach the plastic wing back to the car.

He was devastated when he threw his first one out the window of the car (solved that problem by not letting him have the cars in his hands) and now he is happy. Especially since we told him that Sheriff found him just like Woody and Buzz found Andy. Nothing has broken off of him like some of the others have peices that break off easily. Also, this one doesn't have the lenticular eyes which I'm happy about because i think those are a waste of money.

He enjoys them daily, he bathes and sleeps with them too sometimes§ Those cars come in a very good size: you can take them everywhere, they hold in your kids' hands and pockets and just bring a big smile on their face!
