With that said, I do recommend you check around for the best price because it sells at Toys R Us for $29.99. People/businesses seem to use Amazon to rip others off. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE to shop at Amazon, and have bought all of my Christmas presents from Amazon. However, I buy from Amazon. Not these 2nd party sellers that charge WAY too much. Please check around for the best price.

(More customer reviews)As noted the Buzz helmet does not stay on. I super glued my son's and he is 110% happy with these toys. I am happy with the metal feel and the paint jobs are outstanding. I posted images of there size, they are smaller then the Die Cast Cars Movie toys as I assumed (in the movie Cars at the end these "appear" smaller). I recommend this to anyone with a kid that likes Cars and Toy Story. My son is going NUTS over these.

(More customer reviews)The Illustrations need some work. They are a bit vague in spots. Mostly in the placing of some the wiring. And you will need a Dremel Tool to shorten a few of the screws to make a tight fit. On the whole it is an excellent display model and easily constructed. One of the best I've seen. The prepainted parts are very nice, especially if your not into or adept at painting models. On the whole I was very happy in how it came out.

Something must have changed between prototype and production.
Final 3 tracks before motor way too sharp and steep. Will not stay together even for a moment. Car will not stay on track. Every peice of set different.
Maker must recall and re-engineer. Very sorry about sadness and frustrations this toy will bring so many children.

(More customer reviews)I just got this for my son for his 5th birthday. He's been asking for it for months. It's hard to find in the stores but $30.00 is a lot for it. Shop around and you can find it a little cheaper.
My son LOVES his Lightning Storm Mcqueen. He got a lot of CARS stuff for his birthday and this, he says, is his very favorite.
When you press the button on the top or make him move, he makes sounds. It is really loud but I'm finding that is the case with more toys nowadays. No volume button but there is an off/on switch. My son mostly plays with the sound off.
He loves to pop the wings out and shoot the missiles and bombs. The missiles shoot out about 5 feet or so. It took us a little while to figure out how to get the wings out and for him to actually be able to do it. Once-in-a-while they stick and don't come completely out.
I recommend this toy. I'm even getting one for my nephew. Even with a few minor issues, my son still loves this toy and has a lot of fun with it. Even my 7 yr. old daughter plays with it.

(More customer reviews)We purchased this set for my 4 year old son for his birthday. The sole purpose was to replace his original die cast tractor that had been crushed when stepped on by an adult. These are fairly sturdy die cast metal toys and he has great fun acting out the scenes from the CARS movie. However, I wish Disney would provide an option to purchase just the tractor as they do with most of the other figurines.

My sons (2.5 & 1) absolutely love them, and we are pleased to say that they are EXTREMELY resilient and water safe (*Not the Look my EYES CHANGE, or Hauler trailers)! My boys play with them in the tub, yard, floor, carry them everywhere they go in a back pack, and they keep them entertained for hours!!! A must have for "Disney" families. (More customer reviews)My son loves Cars and is collecting each of the Matchbox type cars. He said he wanted a Mac, so I found this one on-line. I was extremly disappointed in the truck, especially for the price. It is cheap plastic and the trailer doesn't not click onto the front of the truck. Therefore, it pops right off all of the time. It would be better if the truck was either one piece or would snap together so as not to fall apart by a slight touch.
