(More customer reviews)I ordered the Firetruck Vehicles. This is not what I received. They sent me a Service truck set with dump truck, wrecker and tow truck......this is not what I wanted.
Needless to say, this close to Christmas, the problem could not be rectified and I am a little unhappy about it.

(More customer reviews)The picture presentation and the PRICE lead the buyer to believe they will receive an assortment of the semi's... when in reality, you will receive one semi for 4X the price you can purchase at a toys 'r us store! this was not a good transaction for us because the seller did not refund the total amount so the transaction COST me $8!!! and no semi!!! (amazon made up the difference so i am fully satisfied with amazon... just not the seller (i deleted emails so i do not have sellers name to provide here and when i tried searching for it, the convoy assortment comes up as currently unavailable). It's good to know that amazon takes care of its customers and made a bad deal all better!

This is the appropriate scale for use in G-Scale train dioramas, which is the purpose for which this was bought. They typically retail in various fire engine models in the $70 to $80 price range. At the Amazon price of under $40, and with free shipping, they are an excellent buy for the enthusiast and collector.

(More customer reviews)This toy is a huge hit with both of my boys (ages 2 and 4). It is well-built with beautiful details and bright colors. The ladder swivels all around and there is even an extender ladder inside that you can pull out (but this is not metal so not a durable as the rest of the engine). The attachment with the hose links on to the back of the truck (and it really is a mini hose!), but will easily get lost since it only loosely attaches and doesn't stay on well. Either way, my kids love playing with it and it's great little fire engine.

I like the how the 24K Gold Plated coin and the Certificate of Authenticity also came. It is very delicate, but for a model like this, it's understandable. My recommended age for this would be 13+

The two-button remote control is easy for him to operate and hold. Batteries easy to replace and last a really long time in both the car and the remote control. NO SPECIAL SCREWDRIVER NEEDED: Just a small phillips is all it takes. Highly recommended! We bought the police car, fire truck, construction loader and school bus. The soft body makes it safe for both child and furniture!
