Hot Wheels Over the Door Display Case Review

(More customer reviews)I am a mother of 3 boys. My oldest two, ages 2 and 4, have an extensive hot wheels collection. I bought this item to provide them with an attractive, easily accessible storage option for their hot wheels. However, I was very disappointed with the durability and functionality of this product. It will only hold hot wheels cars. It does not hold trucks, vans or any of the more creative hot wheels designs. Most importantly the cloth straps which support it are stitched into the plastic seams on the face of the storage unit. This allows the front to tear easily away from the straps. The item only lasted a month in my home before the stitching was torn from the plastic seams, rendering it useless. It is disappointing that the name of such a durable toy was placed on such a flimsy storage solution. I would only recommend this product for use with much older children.

(More customer reviews)The Disney Car Carrying Case I bought does have 50 slots for individual storage unlike the other comments here. However the slots will only hold the small die cast cars. Mater,Doc,Ramone,and any die cast cars with a fin attached will not fit in this case. So 50 cars in this case would be a stretch at best unless you have duplicate smaller die cast cars. I think the attept to change the case may have been to fit 50 cars inorder to meet the advertised amount on the box, but has fallen short because not all die cast cars fit in it. They have done nothing but made the add fit the case not the case fit the add.

(More customer reviews)My wife bought this for our son while visiting in the states along with several cars. She had no room in her suitcase for it and ended up shipping it back home with cars loaded inside! We were surprised at how sturdy this little box is considering that it is made from cheap plastic!
My son loves it and so far has not broken it. It was bought for the short term and not expected to be kept as a collectable!He is nearly three and we were thinking that it wouldnt make it to his fourth birthday! With how well it is holding up, I think it just might surpass that and our expectations of use!
A surprisingly good buy!

(More customer reviews)This monster truck case is an outstanding great buy for anyone who collects and/or displays them. At first I thought that it would take a bunch of monster trucks to fill this case when i got it when i was about 4 or 5. I have been a monster truck collecter sense i was about 2 or 3 when I got one for my 2nd birthday and im 9 now and I still have this case. I am about to list the monster trucks that will NOT fit in this case: Donkey Kong, Bounty Hunter,Bone Crusher,King Kong, Outlaw, and Taz. This prouduct can hold up to 15 trucks. Be very careful when you are looking for these because there is this man who made this prouduct 40 dollers! Be aware of the small monster trucks because they will slip out when you display them with the lid undone. These trucks are: Avenger, Freedom force, American Guadian, and Grave Digger. This is the longest review i have made so far so i give this prouduct 5 stars!

(More customer reviews)I have 3 sons so we have over a thousand hotwheel & match box cars, so I have bought every car case there is and this one is the Best!! It's very durable my kids stand on it, throw it and open & close it a zillion of time (we've had one of the case now for 3 yrs) and still in one piece and still closes tight. Compare to other car case I have bought that have fallen apart within days of abuse from my 3 boys. I like this case so much I bought 3 more and won't buy any other. It keeps the cars orgainized and off the floor.

Tara Toy Match Box 30 Car Case Review

(More customer reviews)After seeing this item online, I wanted to buy one for my son. It reminded me of the Hot Wheels case my brothers had growing up. Seeing that this case is rated to hold 30 cars, I expected it to be about the same size, about 10-12 inches across...
I happened across it at Toys R Us today, priced at $6.99.
Oh, my goodness! It is tiny! Don't get me wrong. It's cute and it's good quality. But, how anyone could fit 30 Matchbox or Hot Wheels cars it it, is beyond me! Without the dividers inside, a person would be hard-pressed to 30 cars in it; with the dividers, forget it.
Inside there are dividers for roughly 15 cars. Which still makes for a nice Matchbox case.
And, actually, it's a great size for taking along some cars to play with on the road or to a friend's house...
(Just don't count on fitting 30 cars in there.)
