This replica of the Interceptor from "The Road Warrior"....Mel Gibson's first american hit film is awesome...it is so detailed that I couldn't wait to display it....if you are a collector of Die-Cast cars...& a fan of the film....this is a must have....but I do believe they are limited to a few(probably why it is so high in price)...but it is worth it, love this car!!

HITARI R/C KNIGHT RIDER K.I.T.T 1:15 SCALE NEW Review

HITARI R/C KNIGHT RIDER K.I.T.T 1:15 SCALE NEW

In 1982, a show would revolutionize television and capture people's attention. It starred, David Hasselhoff, Patricia McPheearson, the late Edward Molehair, the late Paul Freeze, Peter Cullen, William Daniels, Peter Pharose, and Rebecca Hollender.
The name of the show was called, "Knight Rider."
There were several toys and things done through out the show's airing on tv. There were even lunch boxes done for kids.
Fast forward to the year 2009. I would like to say that I wish they had made the other car from the show named "Karr." But, they didn't. Oh well. I don't really care either way. Kitt was an excellent car and could jump, talk, and when Michael was in trouble, come to his rescue. This car doesn't come with the com-link, nor a Michael Knight figure but, you wil get hours of fun out of this car. No trickey things to do. The car takes four double A's, and for the remote control, it takes one 9 volt battery. YOu can get Kitt to speak from the remote control, or the car itself because there is a button on the car that will make him speak as well. The original voice of William Danniels is heard. There are lights on the car. Just your basic head lights, and the scanner light that would go back and forth. Plus you have the soound of the scanner light that goes back and forth on the car. I bought this car for myself and my two kids love it. My son who is a year old loves the lights on it. My five year old step son wants one so I promised him I would try to get him one. Great job Hatari!!!!! I hope more Knight Rider stuff comes out.

Im a huge fan of the trilogy of BTTF..
this diecast model. is amazing, incredible detail to the max. inside and outside.
this model, is from the Back To the Future 2. when the Delorean is capable of flying. the model is set to have 2 configurations.. the first as a regular car, and the second in flying configuration. great. great. great.

Delorean Back To The Future, Part II Review

Delorean Back To The Future, Part II

I am mainly writing this review to balance out some of the inaccurate statements made by other reviewers here.
First of all, you don't need a magnifying glass to enjoy this model. It is much bigger than a 'matchbox' car, although they do make much bigger BTTF models, this Delorean is about seven inches long (as stated in the product description). The detailing for a model of this size is decent.
Second, this model does not light up or make sounds (as one reviewer claimed). There is a larger BTTFII model that does these things, but this is not that model!
My only complaints about this model are as follows:
First, the Mr. Fusion component comes as an attachment (it is such a tiny piece and it never 'came off' in the movie, so I'm not sure why they would include it as an attachment and not just make it a permanent part of the car... I think the reason is based on the fact that the BTTFI model came with a detachable lightning rod; which made perfect sense because the lightning rod was an attachment in the film. I suppose the manufacturers just wanted to continue that tradition of having an attachment).
Second, the stupid license plate says "OUTATIME". This is what the license plate said in BTTF Part I, and even then it only said it until the first time we ever saw the Delorean travel through time (remember it spinning on the ground after Einstein went forward one minute through time?). In BTTF Part II, Doc gets a license plate from the future and its a barcode plate! They really missed the boat on this detail and its disapointing!
Many people complain that the wheels don't turn down on this model; that is a valid complaint, but it doesn't really bother me personally. I just accept it as a consequence of the size of this model. If you want the wheels to go down, you'll have to get the bigger model.
