Ruckus 1/10th Monster Truck Orange Review

(More customer reviews)I went on a strange spending spree and bought myself a Traxxas Slash and this ElectrixRC Ruckus for my daughter. I wasn't expecting much but it turned out to be a very nice surprise with good performance and good fun. Only $130.
Pro's:
-Price (in between Toy Store R/C cars and higher end R/C cars)
-Performance for price, its pretty quick. Not super fast.
-Upgradeability for price (there is a 15T motor for more speed)
-Was able to find replacement parts at a local hobby shop
-Real shocks, tires, etc just like a high end car.
-Tools needed (except phillips screwdriver) are included
-Real 2 channel remote with reversable switches and steering and throttle trim.
-1/10 scale truck.
Cons:
-Most of those parts are mostly plastic. Already replaced two parts because we crashed into each other.
-The ESC (speed control unit) is stuck on using double sided tape. Higher end cars are screwed into the chassis.
-The radio distance isn't super far. I'd say around 60 yards (real world), maybe 75yards.
If you compare this to something you get at ToysRUs, this will blow away everything there.
If you compare this to a Traxxas, HPI, Losi, Associated, etc then you will be dissappointed. (But you won't get any of those for $130)
Overall, I'm happy with it and would buy it again.

1:10 Remote Control Speed Racer Review

(More customer reviews)My 10 year old son got this from "Santa" even though he keeps thanking me "So much!" for it....
He says he thinks it's "really cool." He says he likes how it steers.
It is really fast!! and turns unbelievably like no car ever would or could!! I am absolutely amazed at the preciseness of the turning ability. You can be up so close you'd think you're going to crash and suddenly the Speedracer can turn to miss the crash. It really has to be seen to be believed. The speed also is amazing. The lights in front and back work. This RC car is satisfying in every way. Next, we are going to buy one of the opponent cars or Racer X so he has someone to race against. Thanks JADA!!

(More customer reviews)the product description on this item is very incorrect; the car is no where near the size that they describe....it's roughly 6" long, 4" wide and 3" tall......this is the second Maisto Radio Control vehicle that I ordered this Christmas season.....and both have been way off on the sizing....maybe the car is great....I don't know that yet...but I'm surely disappointed in the size of it.........let's get it right guys!!!!!

Xzibit doesn't have to pimp this ride for sure! Maisto - well-known manufacturer for their highly detailed die-cast models, introduces their first line of luxury RC vehicles. Maisto Playerz Luxury RC Series is really "luxurious" or as they say... "bling bling..." If Snoop Dogg was 8 years old, he'd definitely be flossing this ride.To describe the how detailed Maisto 1:10 scale Playerz Luxury Series RC vehicle is like trying to describe that bitter sweet taste in your mouth after biting into a new flavor of skittles. It's sorta hard to describe in words. You have to actually see how flawlessly detailed this vehicle is. It's so awesomely detailed, it can just look pretty in a display case. You might just possibly keep it inside of it's packaging... but what's fun in that?! Maisto 1/24 1967 Ford Mustang GT Radio Controlled RC Car BLACK Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter actually wanted a remote control helicopter. I bought this for her so she could learn how to use a remote, she's only 6. She just loves it and believes she's already good enough to fly a helicopter. hmmm, not sure about that. anyway, I've read a few reviews where the car stops working. Well, ours did the same thing. I found it's a common problem that happens to some battery powered products. They don't make the battery contact spring as strong as they used to. I noticed on a lot of toys these days, the contact that is suppose to hold pressure on the battery, pushes in, so that you don't have solid contact anymore. just take out the battery and pull the contact out a little so that when you put the battery back in it holds snug. Our car has not had a problem since. I did notice on our laminate floor, you can do power slides. pretty cool, i use it when she's not looking. btw, i know i said spring, but usually it's not the coiled spring side, it's the flat spring side, the one that kind of looks like a V, that flexes a little as you push in the battery. For this car I think the one I had to pull out a little was in the remote control.

Remote Control Ford GT White 1/18 RC Car Review

Ravensburger Bugatti Veyron vehicles Review

(More customer reviews)My son of 7 recently caught the Bugatti fever after I showed him the video on YouTube and he learned that this is the fastest production car on the planet.
This is a pretty straight forward diecast toy with doors that open. Oh only if the trunk and engine bay opens as well, but that version of Bugatti will set you back around $100.
This is good enough for now.

Maisto R/C 1:10 Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Review

(More customer reviews)Item arrived undamaged. There were some surprises good and bad concerning this car.
The good:
·This car has coil spring suspension (but no shocks). Neither was mentioned.
·Car also has working taillights (but no brake light). Neither was mentioned.
·Very nice looking car.. Really good red trim wheel and brembo brake detail. The tires are semi-hard but it doesn't skid on hardwood floors. It's also pretty fast (for indoor use). The color is flat black, not gloss. This was not apparent in the picture.
The bad:
·Its lowest ground clearance is at the front... 3/16". Runs fine on my embossed patterned berbour carpet and paved driveway... forget about grass or dirt.
·The biggest issue was that, for the price, I thought this car would have digital proportional control. Instead, it's only full on/off or full left/right. Guess I should have suspected since this was never mentioned but I figured with the previous reviewer being a car collector and having given it a 5-star rating, this would have been the case. Not blaming them for my mistake though. Anyway, This is why I docked it 1 star.
In the end, my 18x26 foot room is barely adequate to run it. It's a heavy car and wouldn't take much to scar it up since it doesn't exactly stop on a dime... even with the brake (reverse). If you're looking for good precise control and/or indoor running, this car isn't for you. If you're looking really good-looking mantelpiece item, that you don't plan to run much, get it.

(More customer reviews)In 1982, a show would revolutionize television and capture people's attention. It starred, David Hasselhoff, Patricia McPheearson, the late Edward Molehair, the late Paul Freeze, Peter Cullen, William Daniels, Peter Pharose, and Rebecca Hollender.
The name of the show was called, "Knight Rider."
There were several toys and things done through out the show's airing on tv. There were even lunch boxes done for kids.
Fast forward to the year 2009. I would like to say that I wish they had made the other car from the show named "Karr." But, they didn't. Oh well. I don't really care either way. Kitt was an excellent car and could jump, talk, and when Michael was in trouble, come to his rescue. This car doesn't come with the com-link, nor a Michael Knight figure but, you wil get hours of fun out of this car. No trickey things to do. The car takes four double A's, and for the remote control, it takes one 9 volt battery. YOu can get Kitt to speak from the remote control, or the car itself because there is a button on the car that will make him speak as well. The original voice of William Danniels is heard. There are lights on the car. Just your basic head lights, and the scanner light that would go back and forth. Plus you have the soound of the scanner light that goes back and forth on the car. I bought this car for myself and my two kids love it. My son who is a year old loves the lights on it. My five year old step son wants one so I promised him I would try to get him one. Great job Hatari!!!!! I hope more Knight Rider stuff comes out.

Lamborghini Reventon 1/24 Grey Review

(More customer reviews)I would recommend this die-cast model of the Reventon. It is very detailed, given the 1:24 scale. The paint scheme is flat gray. Dealer ships fairly fast also.

(More customer reviews)I bought this police car for my husband who is a police officer as part of his police display. We do not use it as a toy, but I would imagine it's best for looking at on display unless the child was pretty gentle with it.
