- Detail is noticeably better than Maisto's version.
- The rear hatch includes a metal pole for propping it open.
- Tops are attached and held in place by tiny magnets- though they do not fit perfectly.
- Seats include cloth seat belts.
- Rear airfoil is deployed by spring loaded switch.
- Paint detail in interior is excellent.
Cons:
- About 4x the cost of Maisto's version.
- Wheels are not spring loaded.
In summary: a beautiful model, that's clearly aimed at the collector who really cares about build quality and detail.

1:16 John Deere 50 Tractor Review

(More customer reviews)I was quite dissappointed to find the muffler was made of plastic and appeared to have been broken off and reglued. It broke off while removing from box. This was a present for my grandson as I have that tractor in regular use on my farm and he is a big JD fan. I reglued the muffler and asked my grandson to play with it very carefully or display on his dresser, as I am sure the muffler is not firmly attached. I did not attempt to return it as the box was destroyed during removal.

(More customer reviews)While the Hot Wheels Elite might not match the quality of CMC or AutoArt models, they don't match the price point either.
Hot Wheels apparently contracts with Ferrari for most models so one is limited to buying Hot Wheels for many of the Ferrari models. Still again, they do have a very nice finish and good details and like most models, one needs to exercise great care in order to avoid breaking parts off. These Ferrari models really are best placed inside of a display case or cabinet and kept away from people who would like to play with them. A look but don't touch item for sure.

Maisto International 1:24 1967 Ford Mustang GT - Red/ Gray Review

(More customer reviews)i collect 1:24 die cast mustangs. this is a pretty car, but of all the ones i have- it had the poorest finish work i've seen on any model.
the silver trim around the windows is painted on, by hand. generally it's not much worse than i manage to do- BUT there was a big FINGERPRINT on the post right between the winshield and driver's window.
it was not just that the trim was indented, there must have been a big glob of paint there, because it was thick and smeared, and totally covered the post- which should have been body colored.
i had to use lacquer thinner to remove that, i will repaint it myself.
also, whoever put the windows in got glue ALL OVER the car- the inside was coated, but even the outside had several streaks. alcohol removed most (but not all) of that residue.
there are also several places where the parts were not trimmed- and there was a lot of metal "flashing" that got painted over. that's not unheard of with these cars, but it is excessive on this one.
i enjoy working on models, so i will keep and fix this one- but i won't be ordering any more from maisto. i may buy them from a brick n mortar store where i can inspect them first.
i realize these might sound nit-picky, but if the workers had ANY pride or the inspectors any vision, they would not have let this one off the line.

Yat Ming Scale 1:18 - 1949 Cadillac Coupe Deville Review

(More customer reviews)Once again another beautiful design hacked to death by Yat Ming Road Signature.
The hood does not open correctly, It hangs up and has to be coaxed into position.
The bumper and turn signal were disconneted on one side in the front.
Cheap hard plastic tires
One of the tail lights was a little loose.
The doors do not line up just right, nor does the trunk.
The drop top is made of hard molded plastic
The interior of the car is dull and uninteresting.
So much more could have been done with this car but it looks like Yat Ming is just out for the fast buck.
I would not recommend Yat MIng to anyone unless they were buying this for a child.

Boeing 737 Plastic Model Air Lingus 1-200 by Matchbox Review

I ended up building it in the Aer Lingus colors and painted the various colored stripes instead of using the decal for this... Not the best B737-200 kit out there but ok for an older model. The only problem was that the decals had yellowed to some degree and kinda spoiled the finish especially noticeable with the decals on over the white paint.

When I got this model and built it, I got worried when I noticed it only one mirror, do not worry the car only had one mirror. I would recommend this for people over the age of 13, and people who have some time, it took a little while to put the bottom on, but it is a highly accurate model.

The Nova Super Sport was transformed from a trim option to a performance package for 1968. One of the smallest muscle cars ever fielded by Detroit now included a 295 hp 350 cu. in. V8 engine along with a heavy-duty suspension and other performance hardware. Basically a carryover from 1969, the side markers and taillight lenses for the 1970 Nova were wider and positioned slightly differently. This was the final year for the SS396. All other engines were carried over including the seldom-ordered four-cylinder which was in its final year. 11" John Deere Tough Tractor Review

It has a working Steering wheel that moves the axle which is my son favorite part of the tractor. Also great in the sand box. Definitely recommend it! I will be purchasing more like it for his 2nd bday.Great price too!
