(More customer reviews)This is not a toy. It is a collectible model. It is well made and quite accurate in it's reproduction of an actual 2010 Camaro. I couldn't see giving this to a kid to play with, even though it would probably withstand rough treatment with ease. It's just too nice to waste in that manner.

Typical of AUTOart models the fit and finish is perfect, the scale of items is correct, and although it doesn't have features like opening and closing doors, hood, etc., the level of detail is impressive. Check out the pattern in the drivers window safety net, or the slots in the brake rotors and the full interior roll cage. AUTOart models are more expensive than the average item found at discount or "members only" stores and well worth it! If you are unfamiliar with AUTOart, here is a bargain chance to check them out. By the way, this is not really a toy, but a fine model you could proudly display either at home or office.

Bburago Alfa 8C Competition 2007 1:18 Scale Review

Unfortunately when I ordered I asked for a red Alfa (all our Alfas have been red) but I was sent a yellow one. Given I live in Australia and it was a birthday present it was too hard to send it back.

This is a 1/18 scale replica of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione in red from Bburago's Diamond Collection. It is a sports car produced by Italian automaker Alfa Romeo. It was first presented as a concept car at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show and later released for sale for the 2007 model year. The 8C in the name refers to the eight cylinder engine (8C) and Competizione refers to Alfa Romeo's long racing pedigree.

Maisto 1:18 AL Ferrari F50: Assembly Line Model Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this Maisto 1:18 Ferrari F50 assembly line kit because it has become somewhat difficult to find a decent quality 1:18 Ferrari F50 at a reasonable price. That being said I've found this kit to contain more detail than my older Burago 1:18 Ferrari F40. For example the seats are painted so they have red seating surfaces with black trim. There are disc brake rotors hiding behind the wheels. However as the name implies this Miasto kit has to be assembled by the purchaser.
The included instructions are all picture based. There is no text so it may take a re-read or two to understand certain assembly steps. All in all the Maisto is less difficult to assemble than a typical plastic glue together car model. Total assembly time took about four hours but I was taking my time. Some sticker labels need to be applied such as the gauge cluster in the dashboard, the license plate and the shiny surfaces for the door and rear view mirrors. I only wish Maisto had not pre-applied the Ferrari badges and marque to the pre-painted metal body of the car. Who ever applied these stickers did not do a very careful job making sure the stickers were aligned properly. Of the four stickers pre-applied to the car body, I would only judge one of them to be decently lined up. It would have been so much better if the car body stickers came on their own sheet. This kit includes a set of silver wheels and a set of shiny chrome plated wheels. Also included is a small screw driver for use during assembly.
In the end this kit is an adequate likeness of the Ferrari F50 as long as you don't expect AutoArt level detail. Then again AutoArt 1:18 cars retail for over $100 per car these days. My first choice would have been a pre-assembled car but for the price of this kit I found it worth the minor inconvenience.

Saleen S7 Diecast Model Orange 1:18 Die Cast Car Review

(More customer reviews)This was a gift for a 5 year old nephew. In the Thank You note written by his mother, she said when he opened the present he shouted with glee, "COOL CAR!" She also mentioned that it was attractive enough and the right color for his room to be allowed to be on display on his dresser. She likes an uncluttered look. He loves the fact that the awesome gull-wing doors, hood and trunk open and said even the gear shift moves. If you search online for the name, you'll find other places that have more photos of it, inside and out.
If you're buying multiple cars like this (as opposed to the usual matchbox or hot wheels that everyone has), one thing I remember from when I was a kid was the desire to have the same scale (size) vehicles so they match up when you play with them. If you go with 18th scale, stick with that size. If you go with 24th, then stay with that size. It's more fun that way. :)

The only down thing about it was that when the box arrived, it said it was for kids 3 years old and up. I think that this car is not really so much of a play car as a collector car. My only suggestion is that the manufacturer remove the age on it. My nephew loved it!

This is a 1/24 scale replica of the Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG by Maisto from their Special Edition line. It is painted in a striking and sinister metallic black paintjob. The CL63 rides on Mercedes' W215 chassis, and is the second generation CL coupe. The CL63 AMG is the rarest W215 CL of all. It was produced only in November 2001 and just 26 examples were ever built for sale. Some examples were registered in the UK in March 2002. The V12-powered CL63 AMG was only sold in Europe and Asia. Mercedes-Benz never offered the W215 CL63 for sale, as all were sold exclusively through AMG.
