This exact replica is very detailed right down to the 1959 Cadilac tail lights that were only on the real thing for a short while. The model comes with working head/tail lights and is displayed on a 3 pylon monorail beam. Also included is a monorail pin. This edition is limited to 1959 pieces.

(More customer reviews)Quite impressive! It's really solid metal (total weight is over 1/4 lb), and is faithfully realistic in detail. What surprised me most was discovering the entrance hatch opens. The people who made this knew -and loved- what they were doing.
I do not recommend this item for little kids because -if thrown- it will hurt whatever it hits.
Otherwise, I highly recommend it: it is an object crafted by fans for the enjoyment of fans.

Motor Max: 1950 Chevy Bel Air 1:18 Scale Die-Cast Vehicle Review

(More customer reviews)Motor Max almost knocked the ball out of the park with this model. It should have had a $60 price point. It's a compelling auto story and a great interpretation. So why $25? One error: the box isn't tall enough to keep the packaging from scratching on the roof of the car. For that matter, discriminating collectors will be disappointed that the plastic see-through portion of the package seems unusually scratch-prone.
At this price, I still call it a buy, but it takes a while to get over the scratches (or repair them) if you wind up with them.

It also has the honor of being the model of the largest tank of all time, as well as the heaviest. The tank is true to 1/72 scale in every aspect, exept weight (Belive me, thats good; it would be about 2 tons!). I encourage any modeler to add either this built up, or the Dragon model kit to their collection; it's an awesome tank, as well as model! 5 stars!

Ertl's Bright Green 1970 Plymouth Superbird (#39408) first appeared on the market about 2001. At that time, collectors and Superbird enthusiasts rushed to secure one. These cars have been difficult to find since those early days.
Ertl's is a superb rendering of this automotive classic. The manufacturer has spared no effort in producing this mighty muscle car replica. The precision interior detailing is surpassed only by Ertl's exacting exterior presentation. The doors open wide, the hood raises over an accurately portrayed Mopar power plant (440 cid), and the steering wheel turns the front wheels (an Ertl trademark). The decals are exact (and properly located) giving the car the feeling of quality. Initial review of the car generates only appreciation for Ertl and its dedication to preserving the Roadrunner Superbird legend.
Ertl's Green Superbird has almost doubled in price since its release. (An orange edition was offered after the Green Bird about 2002 and will also increase quickly in value. One hopes Ertl will produce more Superbird colors, how about Chrysler's rare Panther Pink?) In appears certain that this die cast metal car has hitched a ride on the now decade long Superbird craze (all Superbird items are daily and dramatically increasing in value). This car is an excellent investment!
