2002 Lexus LS430 Diecast Model Car in Silver Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered a silver Lexus LS 430 , the Vendor sent me a white one instead, I asked for a replacement, never heard from the Vendor, so I would rate the Vendor service as poor. The diecast model is decent for the price, certain parts like the interior rearview mirror is not to scale.

Ertl's Bright Green 1970 Plymouth Superbird (#39408) first appeared on the market about 2001. At that time, collectors and Superbird enthusiasts rushed to secure one. These cars have been difficult to find since those early days.
Ertl's is a superb rendering of this automotive classic. The manufacturer has spared no effort in producing this mighty muscle car replica. The precision interior detailing is surpassed only by Ertl's exacting exterior presentation. The doors open wide, the hood raises over an accurately portrayed Mopar power plant (440 cid), and the steering wheel turns the front wheels (an Ertl trademark). The decals are exact (and properly located) giving the car the feeling of quality. Initial review of the car generates only appreciation for Ertl and its dedication to preserving the Roadrunner Superbird legend.
Ertl's Green Superbird has almost doubled in price since its release. (An orange edition was offered after the Green Bird about 2002 and will also increase quickly in value. One hopes Ertl will produce more Superbird colors, how about Chrysler's rare Panther Pink?) In appears certain that this die cast metal car has hitched a ride on the now decade long Superbird craze (all Superbird items are daily and dramatically increasing in value). This car is an excellent investment!

HO Die-Cast 2004 VW Beetle Cabrio, Green Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this mini beetle as a gift for my step grandmother who loooves beetles (as I do). She has an entire collection of everything related to them; from miniatures, to computer-mice, to frozen and conserved gourmet cupcakes. It's pretty intense, so I thought this would add to her collection.
I was very disappointed! The bettle itself is tiny, an inch or less... It fits in width, depth and height exactly the top fallange of my middle finger (and my fingers are small). The base is actually the one that is 3 inches something. The base is not shown in the product pictures.
I guess, the size would be fine, if the quality was good, but even that this product lacks. It looks cheaply made and lacks any valuable detail (or any detail at all) a collector would fancy having. Since it obviously isn't a toy for a child, I assumed it would meet "adult toy quality". I was wrong.
The only positive aspect I can come up with is that it looks cute. Besides that, I really don't think she will see this as something peculiar or special to add to her collection, unfortunately. For the price? I would definitely NOT buy it again, in fact, I would probably not spend more than a dollar in it.

(More customer reviews)very happy with this purchase - bought it for our grandson and it is one of his favorite "go to" toys. the only draw back is that the side mount mirror stickers kept coming off. was afraid he would get them in his mouth so I just removed the stickers.

Revell 1:24 '65 Mustang 2+2 Fastback Review

(More customer reviews)The model comes molded in white, clear and chrome plastic parts. You'll need to sand and cut some pieces to make them fit perfectly, but even if you don't have (or don't want to) spend a lot of time building, you will have a fairly good model. The recommended paint scheme is fairly simple, although you will need 10-15 colours, almost all of which can be used for other models because this one requires only touch ups with almost every colour (eg one stroke with transparent orange and transparent red for the taillights and turn signals). Revell produced this model several years ago, and their more recent models are much better in quality and provide more decals for the interior. Also, the body colour as recommended (poppy red) will be hard to find (since it's no longer produced) if you are looking to paint it as on the box. All in all, a great stock muscle car that's better than the '64 stock mustang, but not as good as Revell's currently produced '07242 Shelby Mustang GT 350 H'.
