(More customer reviews)My father, who is an 82 year young retired auto mechanic and loves old cars is also old school about his mail. He goes through postage stamps faster than I can run to the PO to get him another book. For Christmas I purchased him a roll of self-adhesive forever stamps and was looking for a unique dispenser that would fit his tastes. This "toy" fit the bill so perfectly that I was ecstatic when I found it online. My only complaint is that the picture does not do it justice. It is well constructed of die-cast metal. The car is much larger in real life than it looks in the picture online. I would estimate the overall length to be at least 6 inches long and it stands about 4 inches high. It was a real challenge getting the roll of stamps in the barrel though. I had to use tweezers to pull the first stamp through but it works well and looks really cool.
Dad looked at that and started talking about the old cars and how Henry Ford changed the car industry and on and on. He loved it!
