(More customer reviews)My 4 year old plays with this all the time. We had used cardboard tubes to pretend we had an auger, but now he can actually see the "grain" go up the tube. Now he can see what really happens close up instead of just off the back of a grain truck. We have rice in a sand table (so it can be inside)and this works decently but I think it would be better if you put sand in it. The hopper could be a bit bigger because you need to fill it constantly which irritates the little kids. Great learning tool for little ones who need to know how things are put together and how they work.
