(More customer reviews)I purchased this with the impression that all the doors plus front and back compartments would open. I opened the box to discover paint flaws and ended up scratching the paint trying to get the engine compartment to open. I thought it was painted shut by accident. I tried many approaches and scarred the paint in the back. I took it apart from below to find that the engine compartment was empty and had no hinge. Other websites selling this hinted that engine and storage compartments would open. It would have been nice if there was an insert by Maisto giving directions regarding vehicle. It would have been a nice piece for the shelf otherwise.
