Take Along Thomas & Friends - Mighty Mac Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a nice, durable toy. I like the fact that it is magnetic. It makes it much easier for little hands to connect the train cars.

Mighty Mac is two engines in one! He is Mighty at one end and Mac at the other! When Mighty and Mac work together, Mighty Mac is the strongest engine on the Railway. But when they don't, Mighty and Mac are the silliest engines...pulling this way and that! Ages 3+

Take Along Thomas & Friends - Iron 'Arry & Iron Bert 2-Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These guys are definitely second tier characters. They appear as villians/bullies in several episodes. If your child makes up stories as he plays, he may want some villians in his set.
Other bad boy engines would include Diesel, and Diesel Ten. Diesels generally are cast as rivals to the coal powered "steamies".
Salty is a "good" diesel, as is Mavis- a "female" diesel.

Arry and Bert are distinctive diesel engines with a design all their own. Iron 'Arry and his brother Iron Bert work down in the scrapyards, and think they are far superior to steam engines and tease them whenever they can. Smart magnets connect either way, Durable die-cast material.

Thomas the Train: Take-n-Play Harold And The Search Cars Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was looking for the retractable Harold with the magnet and stumbled across this. I was worried it would be too small to pick up the wooden cargo loads, but it works perfectly!! Kids won't get frustrated with this Harold. With the retractable Harold kids could have problems lining up the string with the loads. This one all you have to do is place it over the cargo load and go. The magnet hold is actually better with the wooden railway than the take n play pieces. The plastic loads it comes with do not stay well and you have to line them up perfectly to get it to attach. This is not the case with he wooden loads. I would defiantly recommend this for the wooden railway. I can see myself buying another to stop fighting over it. The only thing about this is that it is heavy. If a small child were to throw it it could definitely do some damage.

Learning Curve Brands Take Along Thomas and Friends - Sir Tophams Car Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My boys love anything related to Thomas and Sir Topham Hat is no exception. They don't play with him quite as much as the trains but he is well liked. My boys are two and four and the two year old still puts things in his mouth. Sir Topham Hat
has had the top of his hat chewed off but otherwise has handled their rough play well.

Take Along Thomas & Friends - Daisy Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I expected Daisy to be the same size as other take along Thomas trains, but she is longer and has two pairs of pivoting wheels on the bottom to help her turn. Daisy is one of my son's favorites, and the train looks great. He loves it, and being die cast I know it will hold up to the beating he'll likely give it.

Learning Curve Take Along Thomas and Friends - Breakdown Train and Flatbed Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The Take Along Thomas Breakdown Train and Flatbed is great!. My 2 year son just loves this train and flatbed along with all the other take along products. For the people that say this is no good except for decorations are people who probably do not purchase the take along set. Like the descriptions states, it only works with take along products, not the brio, wooden or any other thomas the train set. It only works with Thomas and friends take along products. For the people who do collect the take along products, this is a great product.

Take Along Thomas & Friends - Emily Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Very durable product, truly fit for toddlers, unlike the other plastic thomas toy sets (batteries needed as well).
If you buy several sets, you'll see that your kid will invent 'train stories,' which is good for creativity and cognition (vis a vis the thomat dvd's).
This product is not distributed well in other countries so when there's someon visiting the US, it's good to place multiple orders of all the characters at one time.

Take Along Thomas & Friends - Henry Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought these trains for my 4 year old son for Christmas. He loves any kind of cars or trains. I was a little disappointed because they are so small. Especially for the money. I have spent less for the bigger Thomas trains and they run on batteries and go. These don't do anything. Which I guess could be good to use their imagination some and you don't have to keep up with replacing batteries.

Click Here to see more reviews about: Take Along Thomas & Friends - Henry

Henry is a long, fast engine. He has a thoroughbred look and like all thoroughbreds, tends to be somewhat high strung and prone to illness. But he has his new shape now, and sympathetically drive, he'll give any engine a run for its money. Before his shape was changed, Henry had to have special coal brought in so he could run properly. Pocket-sized, die-cast Henry engine. Features "Smart Magnets" that connect either way and an exclusive collector's card. Measures 5 1/8" long.

Take Along Thomas & Friends - Spencer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Spencer looks like a bullet train. My kid plays with Spencer and Emily more than Thomas and Edward.
But this take along diecasts in general are really well made. Even with constant mishandling, and dropping from a chest-high table, no problem (as long as they dont fall on your toes).
Buy the roundtable dock/housing. You'll be happy to hear your kids manufacture story lines as they play.
Great product!
