He loves all of his Cars cars and when we watch the movie, something that happens on an almost daily basis, he like to have the car on screen in his hands. When not engrossed by the film we are on the floor racing cars and crashing cars. This car is sturdy and works great. In this case the term "die cast" actually means metal. This is not a plastic car. After repeated accidents, the paint has started to chip but no one in our house minds. Toys are for playing with! The plastic yellow light on the top popped of on one side after a particularly spectacular crash but a drop of superglue and a 15 minute pit stop and Charlie was back in the race. I would definitely purchase this toy line again.
