(More customer reviews)With Cars 2 coming out soon (at the time of this review), The King toys from the original movie are difficult to find. My almost 3-year old son loves The King almost as much as Lightning McQueen, so we knew it would be a great gift. We have done quite a bit of searching locally and online, and ended up purchasing this one. The actual car is of great quality, as it is an original Disney Cars (Mattel) toy. The King has since acquired some scratches and scuffs, but they are all normal wear and tear. Yes, this is overpriced (considering the 1:55 die-cast Cars vehicles can be found for probably between $3-$6 elsewhere), but the nature of supply and demand decidedly kicks in.
