(More customer reviews)Bought this for my 6 year old daughter. We took a trip to London last summer and saw the real bridge, and she recognized it immediately. The pieces are tab and slot construction, and are generally pretty easy to put together without any tools, but something like a small screwdriver or letter opener would be good to poke out the slot holes. It's made of a fairly stiff foamboard, but they still can be easily bent/torn if too rough. I think it's a bit too challenging for my daughter; she can do some of the simpler sub assemblies, but I did most of the construction. It's a pretty good reproduction and a nice model. I think a patient 8 year should have no trouble with this. I certainly enjoyed working on it :)
