(More customer reviews)We partnered this house with our American Flyer train and a set of Model Power people. It is a quality plastic model, compariable to a Plasticville log cabin also on our layout. This house is S scale and the log cabin and people we have used are O scale. They sit very nice together. With our grandchildren's painting assistance (ages 5-12) it was a great project to work on. I didn't care for the sticker shutters, so I made my own from cedar shingles from a dollhouse supply that I had. I used vellium scrapbook paper behind the windows. I don't see using this as a toy. But it's a great model railroad feature.
