(More customer reviews)If you came across one of these out of the packaging you wouldn't immediately know it was supposed to be Buzz Lightyear or have anything to do with the Toy Story movie franchise. The vehicle doesn't look like the toy character at all, it does use the same green, white and a bit of purple that the character has but there's nothing identifying his head which is what you most recognise the character from. There are some great instantly recognisable as the characters from the movie vehicles in this release of 8 vehicles by Hot Wheels but sadly the second of the two main characters had pretty much no effort put into it whatsoever. It's basically just a normal Hot Wheels racing car painted in Buzz colours. Wheels Wheelin' Woody is a great car and is easily recognised as representing the Tom Hanks voiced cowboy toy. Likewise Rex Rider representing the plastic dinosaur is also brilliantly represented.
Also the prototypes of this and all the cars really have had their production costs slashed by getting rid of nicer wheels and putting on the cheap wheels that the mass produced Hot Wheels vehicles have. You can see what they all originally looked like on the back of the packaging. This car is such a waste or what could have been.
