They are a little bigger than your average hot wheels cars and do not fit into the regular hot wheels carrying case. The details on the trucks are pretty true to the real trucks that "compete" in the Monster Jam circuit. My son LOVES monster trucks and we have pawed through all the videos, books, etc that you can find in our local library. He has collected many of the Hot Wheels versions of his favorite trucks, and we even went to see a Monster Jam event in person. He always tells me about how the boys in school play with Monster Trucks but the girls aren't interested.
Then one day, as we were watching one of his videos, we saw that Scarlet Bandit is driven by a woman (by the way, she's also a mom of 3)! My moment of triumph had arrived as I showed Mr Know It All that some girls like Monster Trucks too. He told all the kids in his class and even brought the video in to school for show and tell, and the girls especially were mesmerized. I think it's a great message to kids that girls drive these trucks just as good as boys!
