Transformers Universe Autobot Ambush - Roadbuster and Dirge Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've been a transformers fan for about a year now and this is the first review I've written about one...or in this case two. They are two old
transformers characters represented in new bodies. Both look excellent in vehicle mode, especially Roadbuster.Roadbuster is my favorite of the two,but Dirge is just as awesome as Roadbuster. In robot modes, they both have several gimmicks.Roadbuster has two machine guns, which with the help of a special key, flip open to reveal a lot of (non-firing)missles.He also has four panels which flip to reveal even more missiles, not to mention a knife he can hold in his hand.Dirge has a working missile launcher and two key activated blades. Both are very posable, and the transformation on both is easy, with the help of instructions, which are more helpful than usual. Both are highly recommended, especially now that Target has them for $20.88 in the clearence isle.

Titanium Series Transformers 6 Inch Metal Cybertron Soundwave Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Soundwave is one of the greatest characters the Decepticons had and now with this toy you can add a very poseable, articulate, and detailed figure to add to your collection. My only grief with this toy is that the laserbeak that comes with it does not resemble the G1 version and also I wish it would have been a little taller than 6 inches. I would have gladly paid an extra $10 bucks for a 10 inch version.

Titanium Series Transformers 6 Inch Metal Megatron Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This version of Megatron is adapted from the fun comic story, Transformers: The War Within. The 6" line has several figures based on that story line. These versions can only be found in the 6" titanium line and generally they're geared as affordable display pieces with diecast to pump up the display value; more then generally cheaper and all plastic play transformers to give to the kids. The "alt" mode, as with most of the titanium figures, is pretty decent and is really there to support the more excellent 'bot mode. Check out the comic story in trade paperback here at Amazon and pick up some other sweet War Within titanium: Fallen (smokin' hot), War Within Optimus Prime, Sunstorm. If you like TF and diecast, these are heaven.

Transformers Takara Binaltech MP1B Masterpiece Nemesis Prime Optimus Prime Black Convoy Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)It's a pretty solid figure. It's so durable and heavy. It's pretty much the best representation of Nemesis Prime out there. It's a good price for those who want a quality Transformer figure. The detail's pretty awesome. I'd highly recommend this to anyone that's a fan of Transformers, toy-collectors, who loves robots or trucks.
So this gets a perfect score.

Kenner Transformers Movie 2 Long Haul RPM's Diecast Car Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Long Haul is one of the better vehicles. Ironhide is probably the best, Optimus Prime in looking both good and closest to the version which appeared in the movie is also up there.
It's great to see some Transformers cars come out as die-cast vehicles. Since the Japanamation cartoons in the 80s, collectors have wanted to see these sitting besides other movie Matchbox, Johnny Lightning, Corgi and other manufacturers on the shelf vehicles, so good on Hasbro for doing this. Would also love for Hasbro to release the original 80s Japanamation versions as well. I don't recall Long Haul being around back then but I haven't seen the cartoons or played with the toys since I was a kid back then in the 80s. I don't remember him but feel free to comment if you do know. At the time of this review all the Transformer vehicles available are from one of the two non animated movies (first movie came out 2007).
There is no scale written on the packaging but I would guess it's 1:55 (1:64 is your standard mass produced Matchbox and Hot Wheel sized car). I own collect 1:64 sized movie diecast cars and there's really not a lot of difference. These RPMs are slightly longer and taller but not much. If you only have 1:64 scaled vehicles in your collection, these Transformers cars won't look out of place.
Instead of making them out of the same metallic material Matchbox cars and the like are made of, Hasbro chose the cheaper option of making these out of plastic and that does lower their durability and the overall rating. The plastic makes them a lot more fragile than your typical Matchbox and other brands vehicle. Considering Transformers fight each other and are involved in a lot of action scenes, you'd think this factor would have come to mind when Hasbro thought about how kids would play with these. Not that I'm too sure how attractive these are too kids when you consider they don't transform at all into robots and you can get key ring sized actual transformers for around the same price on the shelves next to these in the stores.
These appeal more to people like me who are collectors who are primarily going to just put them on display, which is why it's a little bit silly that they're made out of plastic as a lot of collectors on discussion boards are saying the plastic is why a lot of them aren't buying these! If you aren't planning on taking these out of their packaging, and the packaging displays well enough you don't need to with a clear blister at the part of the backing card where the car is (see my customer images), then the plastic factor probably won't bother you.

Transformers Movie Deluxe Barricade Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like Barricade pretty much. When I first got it, I tried to transform it, and when I transformed it back to robot mode, there was a thing sticking out, which was a spring loaded punch attack. I thought both arms did this, but then I realized from the instructions that only one arm did this, and that was left arm. It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be.
Also, the back legs never connect to arms-it is so extremely hard to transform it. I can do it sometimes, but sometimes I have to give it to my mom so she can finish it.
The little guy that comes inside Barricade is named Frenzy. He turns into part of Barricade in vehicle mode. Frenzy is a little bit cool.
I think Barricade is not as good as movie deluxe Jazz. I would say that Barricade and Brawl are about the same goodness, but Jazz transforms better. The other transformers can roll on wood, but the wheels on Barricade do not work well on wood and can only roll on soft things like carpet.
One last thing--why does this transformer not come with a sword or a gun?
Overall, I like Barricade pretty much. You could buy this one, but it's only pretty good, not the best.

Transformers Movie Deluxe Barricade features spring-loaded punch-attack action and a deception frenzy figure that ejects from its chest in robot mode. This is one awesome figure for your collection. The greatest thrill in his life knows people trust him because of the human decorations on his door panels. The look of betrayal they get when they realize what they?re dealing with is as sweet as candy. The only thing he likes better is chasing down auto bots and breaking them into pieces with his powerful arms and crushing, hydraulic hands.
