Revoltech #34 Macross Valkyrie VF-1J Figure Robotech (Toy) Review

(More customer reviews)What caught my eye about this figure is that it's colored the same way as the battloid shown in the opening sequence of Robotech. But what I didn't know was the scale. In fact, on the box, it says, "Non-scale Action Figure from 'THE SUPER DIMENSION FORTRESS MACROSS'". This figure measures about 4.5 inches tall. The paint job is excellent, and you have four different hand poses: fist, holding the gun pod, a salute, and a "spread". The parts are made of a soft plastic. It's called Revoltech because it has revolving joints.
You have to use the display stand in order for the figure to be upright. For standing poses, you put each foot into a peg on the display stand.
Just looking at this figure is inspiring, and makes me feel nostalgic for those days in the 1980's when Robotech was my after-school TV treat!

Godzilla Japanese Die Cast 7" GD-98 1975 Mecha Godzilla Review

(More customer reviews)My 7 year old son is a Godzilla fanatic and really wanted the Mechagodzilla from the old cheesy movie Terror of Mechagodzilla. This figure has metal parts, is beautifully sculpted and amazingly accurate to the old 1970s movie. My son is very impressed with it and has enjoyed playing with it.

Transformers Movie Deluxe Barricade Review

(More customer reviews)I like Barricade pretty much. When I first got it, I tried to transform it, and when I transformed it back to robot mode, there was a thing sticking out, which was a spring loaded punch attack. I thought both arms did this, but then I realized from the instructions that only one arm did this, and that was left arm. It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be.
Also, the back legs never connect to arms-it is so extremely hard to transform it. I can do it sometimes, but sometimes I have to give it to my mom so she can finish it.
The little guy that comes inside Barricade is named Frenzy. He turns into part of Barricade in vehicle mode. Frenzy is a little bit cool.
I think Barricade is not as good as movie deluxe Jazz. I would say that Barricade and Brawl are about the same goodness, but Jazz transforms better. The other transformers can roll on wood, but the wheels on Barricade do not work well on wood and can only roll on soft things like carpet.
One last thing--why does this transformer not come with a sword or a gun?
Overall, I like Barricade pretty much. You could buy this one, but it's only pretty good, not the best.

Transformers Movie Deluxe Barricade features spring-loaded punch-attack action and a deception frenzy figure that ejects from its chest in robot mode. This is one awesome figure for your collection. The greatest thrill in his life knows people trust him because of the human decorations on his door panels. The look of betrayal they get when they realize what they?re dealing with is as sweet as candy. The only thing he likes better is chasing down auto bots and breaking them into pieces with his powerful arms and crushing, hydraulic hands.
