(More customer reviews)This is the Water Works vehicle that came out in Johnny Lightning's original Monopoly release of 12 vehicles in 2000. It's a Chevy Cameo if you're after the official brand of car. There were actually quite a few different series of Monopoly themed vehicles released after the initial 12 (which were incidentally released again with six additional vehicles as series 2). Anyway in the 5th (or 70th Anniversary Release as it is more commonly known) there is a much nicer Waterworks vehicle. That one is actually the same vehicle as the Reading Railroad Ford Truck in the same first release series as this, but with a much better blue and white paint job than the Reading car has, as well as the same Water Works tap symbol that is on this vehicle. So unless you're going to collect every single vehicle in the first series to have a complete set, I'd get the 70th Water Works one to represent the Water Works property on the board if I were you instead.
This Water Works vehicle is well done, but yeah one of the weaker vehicles of the first release. Like all did in the first release it comes with a bonus playing token version of the same car which is also very well detailed. On the vehicle itself which is an off white (sort of really pale green white is best description) is the Water Works symbol from the game with the tap on both doors and the bonnet, the white texted inside red rectangle Monopoly symbol is on the top of the tray side panels and on the rear gate. Surprisingly with a white canvas they didn't put any imagery on the roof, just Mr. Monopoly's signature (which is somewhere on all the vehicles) in tiny writing just above each side window.
Johnny Lightning pretty much always make great vehicles, with attention to detail far better than anything Matchbox, Hot Wheels and other rivals put out. There's nothing wrong with this vehicle it's just that a better nicer looking Water Works vehicle exists.
