(More customer reviews)Upon opening the box it looks pretty cool. This illusion fades quickly as you try to set the focus on some of the prepared slides that come with the microscope. The construction of the microscope is flimsy and the lens assembly is very loose resulting in a loss of focus at the slightest touch or bump. This product is geared towards children, but as an adult I had trouble using it. My 9 year old daughter lost interest quickly due to the fact that she could not see anything through the microscope. If you want a microscope, spend a little more and buy one that is usable.
