1/63 Die-Cast Fokker DR-1, Red Baron Review

I have a new (almost) eight year old son, and he is obsessed with the Red Baron. Unfortunately, the one thing he didn't have was a plane of the Red Baron's, so I decided to order this for him. To say he was excited to receive it, would be an understatement; however, the quality of this toy is HORRIBLE! It was already starting to fall apart when we received it. As soon as he opened it, we found that the wheels had fallen off and needed to be glued back on. Next, the wings started to fall off, so we had to reglue them, but it still kept falling apart. Sadly, there are very few Red Baron planes out there, and most are either kits that need to be put together or are well over [...] and meant for adults to display. He has many die-cast planes that we have had no issues, so I expect a die-cast plane to hold up well. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone, not even an adult.

InAir E-Z Build Model Kit - Fokker Dr.1 Review

InAir E-Z Build Model Kit - Fokker Dr.1

I happened to spot one of these models for sale at the gift shop in the Air and Space museum in San Diego and was struck by the colour, which really did look like the Red Baron Red I grew up reading about. Rightly or wrongly, I remember it have a white cowling like this model, rather than the red cowling often seen, although both might be correct. I didn't buy it at the time, but it stayed in my mind, and I purchased it later through Amazon.
The truly marvelous and remarkable thing about this model is its strength. I had intended to give it to my son when he was older, but it seemed so strudy I gave it to him immediately. He has had it for 5 months, carrying it everywhere, dropping it, playing with it. He just turned two a few days ago, so you can imagine the abuse it has suffered. But, with the exception of the tail, which broke off once, and is now superglued on, it looks brand new and unscathed.
When one considers the price, this is a remarkable model. Authentic AND tough.

1948 Tucker Torpedo diecast model car 1:18 scale die cast by Yat Ming - Burgundy Review

My husband was thrilled with the quality of this die cast 1948 model Tucker Torpedo auto. He displays it in a prominent place in his office.
We were amazed at the weight and quality of the construction. Much nicer, heavier and prettier than I expected.
He said it was the best Christmas present he got this year. He is fascinated with the old Tucker. I also bought him several old issues of auto magazines with pictures and articles of this car from sellers of memorabilia. I also bought the DVD with Jeff Bridges about "Tucker."
He has a wonderful time reading about them and showing off his die cast model.
This item is not a toy for children. This is high quality.
Thank you Yat Ming for such good work.
Annie
