InAir E-Z Build Model Kit - Fokker D.VII Review

I received this plane and was pleased with the quality of the materials for the price. My only real complaint is the instructions. You need to lay the papaer in the yard and then ask NASA to turn the Hubble telescope on it, set it at the largest magnification and then you may be able to read them. I do not know why InAir is making the instructions so small just double the size of the paper and enlarge and then this model would be GREAT and I could give it 5 stars. I like that there is no glue required (you can use glue on the body but not really needed.
As being in scale (as the box says) yes they are scale in that they are smaller than the real aircraft but they are not in scale to each other. But after saying all that they really are a beautiful model for display.

This model kit is great for young collectors, not top notch, but it is a very neat kit. The diagram of how to build it is black in white so you might have some trouble reading it but it is readable. The pieces have some trouble snapping together, but the screws are very well made and fit in there whole well. Also, the plane has some trouble balancing on the stand but don't be worried when it rocks side-to-side a bit because it is just find it's comfortable position. If you are wondering how the pieces stick together there are 11 screws, and grooves where all the pieces are supposed to fit. There is no glue so no mess will be created. The kit comes with all the supplies you need, like screwdriver, screws and any thing else you need to construct it. In all a rate this about a 4 1/2 stars.

InAir E-Z Build Model Kit - B-2 Stealth Bomber Review

The only thing wrong about this model is the fact that its advertised in 1/72 when its not. A B-2 in 1/72 would have a wingspan about 28.5 in. This model is close to a 1/200 scale with a wingspan about 10.5 in. But other than that its a good model for its size.

The advertising as a detailed scale model is false. The B-25 is a toy, not a display model. And as a toy, its not a good one either. Our son plays with it and the parts fall off. Dont waste your money. If you want a toy, buy something else. If you want a display model, invest some money and search for a better one or build it yourself.

I happened to spot one of these models for sale at the gift shop in the Air and Space museum in San Diego and was struck by the colour, which really did look like the Red Baron Red I grew up reading about. Rightly or wrongly, I remember it have a white cowling like this model, rather than the red cowling often seen, although both might be correct. I didn't buy it at the time, but it stayed in my mind, and I purchased it later through Amazon.
The truly marvelous and remarkable thing about this model is its strength. I had intended to give it to my son when he was older, but it seemed so strudy I gave it to him immediately. He has had it for 5 months, carrying it everywhere, dropping it, playing with it. He just turned two a few days ago, so you can imagine the abuse it has suffered. But, with the exception of the tail, which broke off once, and is now superglued on, it looks brand new and unscathed.
When one considers the price, this is a remarkable model. Authentic AND tough.

This is not my first E-Z build model kit, just my first purchased online. I've been collecting them from several aviation museum gift shops that I've traveled to. Same great quality and quick shipping from this seller. I noticed this model on the back of a previous package but hadn't seen this one in person. I can't wait to add more to my growing fleet.
