Lotus: For those who know the difference...
Like most AUTOart models, the Esprit of high build quality and design. The paint thickness is quite good, construction is solid and the details are accurate. However I do have technical issue in the labeling of this model as a 2004. This is actually a 1:18th scale of the 1997 Esprit, which was the first V8TT model (a carry-over chassis of the previous S4/S4s). The hoop spoiler and older (pre MY98) dash are a dead giveaway. I would have loved to see a final edition model produced with the different interior, aerodynamic bits and of course the round tail lights.
Either way, for a Lotus lover this model is a welcome part of the collection and a must for a true enthusiest.
