(More customer reviews)I was expecting the item would be larger. The actual rover is about 4" wide. I read somewhere it was close to 10", but that is only the plastic "lander" item, that features cheap pasted-on stickers as ramps. Yes, it has die-cast parts, but the small parts are plastic and not very well cast. I wouldn't have paid nearly $36, plus shipping, for it. I can't imagine what the other rover that sells here for almost twice the amount would look like. I would not recommend this item unless it is an absolute must for a collection or science class demo. Actually, the box is a lot more interestingly designed than the model. This Made in China model probably cost cents to produce. I was overall disappointed.
