(More customer reviews)One of my favorites from WWII, the Toryu 'Nick' Ki-45 twin engined fighter is a testament to the prevailing "conventional wisdom" from pre-war thinking. Believing that all airforces needed twin-engined heavy fighters to provide high altitude interception and long range escort, many airforces had their own version of this concept. The japanese version, similar to the zero-sen and other fighter types, was highly maneuverable (for its size) and heavily armed.
This model comes painted in the mottled gray-olive of the jungle camo pattern.
