(More customer reviews)Tailgator, like with Rhino Rod, Stinger (wasp) and Rotwheeler (dog) is a very detailed and great representation of the real life version animal. It's a shame Matchbox hasn't seemed to be releasing any creature cars in recent years as there's are a lot higher quality than Hot Wheels' ones. These cars are 1/64 sized, the same as the rest of their mass produced line of cars.
Tailgator's body has lumps that very well resemble reptile scales. The only thing that real crocodiles don't have is a tail that can fold back along their backs, like this car is doing. This would have been so much better if the tail was just sticking out the back of the car. Tailgator's teeth are very white, he sort of also looks very happy, like a dog's expression when your eating it and it wants some (see my customer image). Tailgator has black side windows where door windows would be on real cars (it doesn't have doors). The front windshield sort of is more of a sunroof. Tailgator does roll pretty well.
You can get Tailgator in a number colours depending on which year release you track down. It's come in light green (one being sold here) dark green (my customer image), brown and even a gold coloured version.
