(More customer reviews)I bought this hoping it would complement the Bruder logging truck for my 3 year old, but it turns out the logs are much smaller than the ones that come with the logging truck. It doesn't stand up very stably, and in general seems kind of flimsy. Maybe better for an older child.

(More customer reviews)This is a great model, they even tell you an age range, Model details are great but it will not stand up to play from a younger kid. It is all metal and quality built. Though the size is listed it seemed smaller that we expected when we got it. Overall it is a great working model of the truck but buying at as a toy for a younger kid would not be recommended.

Bruder Mack Granite Snow Plow Truck Review

(More customer reviews)This is such a cool quality well-designed toy with a lot of features that really work well. I have the entire Bruder Mack Granite series (along with all the CAT construction stuff). I haven't seen anything comparable offered by any other toy manufacturer in this scale. Even though you will never see a truck like this in operation down here in Florida, it is such a fun toy to play with in the sand on the beach. I bought this Bruder toy (and all the others) for my 5 month old grandson who will be old enough to play with them in about 2 1/2 years. Until then I'll take really good care of them, and they are all on display in my man cave...
...as they should be.

1/14 R/C Yale Forklift Truck Review

(More customer reviews)The Yale Forklift Truck does what it says on the box, however I found the sticking of the mast a bit off putting if you are lowering things with no weight to them but I will attemp to resolve with a bit of grease. But by far the worst problem which is a design fault is that the pallets slide off the forks very easily, a problem that we have overcome by attaching small pieces of sand paper to the bottom of each pallet (Strapping your cargo to the pallets with rubber bands also does the trick)
But all in all Its a pretty good looking little truck

Garbage Truck Review

(More customer reviews)After buying the Bruder toys which are fun but can't be taken outside because of breakage I looked online for a metal garbage truck. I paid near $50 including the shipping and extra trash bin. The truck is sturdy enough being made of metal but the trash cans are made of plastic. Good thing I bought an extra because it broke within 1 minute of use. The truck is very small, I thought it would be bigger. Although it is hard for me to make the trash small enough to fit in there my son seems to enjoy it. The other downfall is that the truck lifts the garbage can but not at a high enough angle for an easy dump. So my son has to shake it to get the garbage to fall out. I would think for this amount of money these things would be better on it. Nonetheless my son likes it and we won't send it back. I'll probably just buy him a bigger one. Other movements on the truck: the cab tilts forward and there is a sliding mechanism that pushes the trash out at "the dump."

(More customer reviews)Bought this for a young boy who wanted a replacement for the "Bobcat" that his dog chewed up. I thought I would get a die cast model that would be less appealing to the dog. Very disappointed as soon as I opened the box. 1:32 scale didn't sound too small, but this thing is tiny. Still waiting for two more Norscot toys I ordered and after looking at the dimensions more carefully, I suspect I may be returning the whole order. More of a small replica than a child's toy. He has not seen it yet, so maybe it will work out, but pay close attention to the dimensions before you purchase any of the Norscot toys. It's really a shame I have to make a choice between cheap, expensive plastic toys like Bruder, or metal toys that may last but are too small to play with.

As far as my expectations for the way toys are made these days, it surpassed them. These are very detailed and well made toys despite being made of plastic. Bruder will also send you a video on their toys and how they are made. Kids love the video.
My son loves forklifts, so I thought this was an ideal toy for him. He loves the fact that it can be a forklift one day and a scooper or a crane the next.
He's had it for over 4 months now and still plays with it almost everyday. You'll get you're money's worth out of this toy.

(More customer reviews)Our son has loved this truck. He uses small Lego bricks as garbage, and they pass through the auger into the truck's box with no problem. The arm extends from the truck's side and grabs the garbage can. The can is dragged over to the very side of the truck, then lifted and tilted over the opening. The lifting mechanism is very cleverly designed so that no 'garbage' will fall from the can until the lifting knob is slightly over-rotated, thereby opening the garbage can lid. Sounds complex, but it is well built, and has lasted us a year so far. The Bruder line is very tough, and the plastic is almost indestructible.
